Since 1977, Shared Technologies has operated in the highly competitive, evolving-at-the-speed-of-light world of communications technology. Our primary business is to sell, install and maintain telephone and data systems for business customers across North America. Simply put, we keep businesses connected to the people and information they need to survive and thrive. Shared Technologies is a "roll-up-your-sleeves" kind of place. It is an extremely fast-paced and production driven envirnoment. We work hard. We enjoy ourselves. We interact with one another in a very positive and caring manner. We cover for one another and work outside of our job descriptions. We don't just do our own jobs but seek to fill the gaps between jobs to ensure that we are taking care of the customer and our fellow employees. We look for candidates who have the ability, willingness and energy to work in an environment that expects a high level of commitment and engagement. Because we have office locations across the United States, recruiting and hiring takes place locally. Our leadership team in each office selects employees for roles they need to fill and have the tools and training they need to screen for cultural fit. We approach the recruiting process with two objectives in mind:

  • Does this person have the requisite skills and experience to make a productive contribution to the business?
  • Would this person make a positive contribution to our culture?
